I stumbled across this picture today and I enjoyed it. To be honest, it’s nothing new. But I’m not sure that we (I) really get it. It’s a common complaint that people are afraid to tell Christian’s the things that are on their mind.
It’s something I’ve been thinking about lately. So I have a few questions:
Rather than trying to fix others – what if we made it a point just to present?
Is the desire to fix others co-dependence? Is it the desire to be wanted, disguised in wanting to help the other person? If so, isn’t this desire similar to wanting to be a Savior/Jesus/Holy Spirit?
Is the desire healthy? Obviously a common answer will be “depends on the situation,” and I agree. But if we don’t set some type of boundaries, we’ll end up making the exceptions part of our normal routine.
What are your thoughts on the matter?
