A Time For Everything

Gotta take a moment and thank God for creating a man like this. We are all made in His image and the turtle man not only displays God’s wonderful sense of humor, but also shows off the creativeness of God’s handy work. Who could have thought this guy up? Praise and glory to God for making snapping turtles and for making this guy to catch them. “Yeee yeee yeee!”

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace. –Ecclesiastes 3 (ESV)

….a time to catch snapping turtles, and a time to go to the dentist.

A little application:

Are we spending our time complaining, mocking, and criticizing God’s creation or are we being thankful, acknowledging, and enjoying God’s creation?

Do we show respect and dignity to all people because they are made in the image of God; no matter how distorted that image is?

Are we taking full opportunity of the season of life that we are in?
